ORANGE DAY - 28th November 2025
HGS engages in activities and programs that promote learning by combining fun and creativity with interactive learning models. As a unique celebration of the impact and contribution of colours to our daily lives, HGS celebrated Orange Day as the campus was suffused with the hues of orange colour. The kindergartners adorned costumes in vivid shades of orange. As a learning exercise, students were presented with different orange-coloured objects and were taught to identify them with their unique features and differences. Various craft-making activities were conducted wherein students learnt about the presence of the orange colour in fruits, flowers, flora, and fauna. Nursery students engaged in bubble-sheet printing using orange paint. It was a great interaction between students and their craftwork as LKG students coloured and pasted orange paper to make an orange fruit, while UKG students performed a paper-sticking carrot activity, learning about healthy vegetables. Orange Day was filled with fun, creativity, and learning that encouraged students to explore their cognitive and creative skills. As a token of appreciation, students took back oranges and a tiger paper cap with unbounded joy and exhilarating enthusiasm. Orange Day was a beautiful celebration that amalgamated learning with fun, laughter, and creativity.
